I apprenticed under William Whitaker for almost three
years. Among other achievements, Whitaker is the official portraitist
for LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley and two Utah governors.
He comments that, “Molly Williams has a special gift for working
with children and painting their portraits. She possesses a rare ability
to paint a sensitive accurate portrait, and create a living likeness
of each child. I am very impressed by her talent.” * Click here to read more thoughts about my mentor |

Don was one of my favorite teachers at Brigham Young
University. He was the first professor to really educate me
on painting an oil portrait. I owe him so much! Click here for more about Don. |

I met David in New York City where we became very good friends. He is a dedicated artist, and I loved our trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Check out his drawings from Italy on his website! [Sorry, David. This is the only picture I had of you!] |

I’d like to thank my awesome roommate Rebecca who constantly hears, "Rebecca! Will you come in here and tell me if you think this looks okay." Check out her website at www.rebeccajacobson.com. |
| Mr. Detweiler, my high school AP calculus teacher, was the first person to buy some of my artwork, believing that I would make it big one day. Thanks to Karen Cottle for helping me edit promotional materials for my business. |
